ARE You FREE? Are you Dependant or Independant? Are You a subject or a citizen?

For thousands upon thousands of years there have been people that have formed groups, towns, communities and governments.  Usually with one thing in mind, common or even unintenional.  That and what has always occurred in the name of something good or something that brought people together under a common cause, is power, greed and control of people.

Usually how you grow up and what you grow up into is how you view right, wrong and what should and is normal in how these things are done.  That my friends is why history is so important.  Without it, you will never know how you became free or why you are oppressed. 

Being a subject? 
A person who owes allegiance to or is under the domination of a sovereign or state.  This is usually the case where people are dependant on someone else for their needs at the expense of someone else's hard work through a gov taxing that hard work and handing it off to someone that is dependant.  Governments love this because as the dependancy grows it gives the gov more power to tax harder and it creates a control that the subject cannot come out from and enslaves those that work and is taxed beyond being able to even take care of theirselves.  Freedom to do as you wish is lost, oppressed and only dreamed of...your life is regulated on everything you do, say, feel, want, dream of, and your liberty to live as your soul desires is non productive to the gov.

Being a citizen?
Being a good citizen means treating others the way you would want to be treated. Obey the laws, and to protect the private property of others. A good citizen is an informed citizen. Know the national issues and problems by regularly reading the newspaper and listening to television and radio news broadcasts.  To be a citizen is to have a gov that represents your thoughts, desires, manages your taxes in a way that is productive to the whole and creates opportunies that create more growth for everyone.  You have liberty and freedom to do, say, act and live the way you wish.  Be anything you want, or nothing at all.


Citizens' duties are to vote in elections, pay taxes, serve on a jury, register for the draft, etc.

Citizens' rights are:
Right to vote,

Right to a fair trial,

Freedom of speech,

Freedom of Assembly,

Right to National Security,

Right to Keep and Bear Arms,

Privilege of traveling,

Carry legal firearms,

Eligible to work in all areas.

So I ask you to ask yourself.  What are you?  Who are you?  What do you want for yourself and your children?  Is freedom really free or is it something that has to be watched by it's citizens and those in power removed when our liberty is threatened?
