Do people really believe that it is our goverment responsibiliy to take care of us with each and every one of our needs and to control even the air we breath?? I don't know, I may be wrong but should we not take care of ourselves....I mean is that not the American way and what our fore fathers ran from and the whole reason this country was formed. And by the way, I'm not wrong. You should be able to take care of yourself. That is your right as a free born.
I understand helping the less fortunate, and meeting our fellows americans needs in a time of crisis. We as a country have always been there to meet the needs of people and nations all over the world. That is the one and only beauty of power. When it is used for good.
Getting back to point. Would you send me your money, I don't know maybe 15 to 25% and let me give it back to you in the way I see fit for you. Or would you rather do what you want to do with your own money. Just asking.
Self-reliant-relying on oneself or on one's own powers, resources, etc.

Sadly, for the last 100+ years the Progressives have been training an entire sector of our citizens to believe that they are entitled to be cared for by others. That "we owe them" a living. What they fail to understand about this lie is that they are being used so that all of use can be made slaves.
