Funny how the Minority in this country along with the media try to make the Majority through political correctness feel guilty or try to make it seem that the majority is evil and somehow not normal anymore. 

 As well as  how they try and change the perception of the truth of the American way through the same use of political correctness.

 Progressives should grow a pair and stay out of our freedoms and get over it. 

The kindness of heart is one of the most taken advantage of things.  People by nature find it easy to just say Okay.  They do so with the hopes it will fade, go away or not effect them.  It doesn't and it will not.  It just gets you, a group or an idea taken advantage of. 

And that has brought our nation of the strong and independent down to its knees. 

We now bow before a nearly godless society of dependent people led by a group with a mind set that was never intended to be.  Kindness and love is one thing.  Kindness without accountability is yet a totally different destructive thing to those who are self reliant. 

Kindness and love is a helping hand and a understanding.  Kindness without accountability is a handout and enabling.

Does anyone else remember George Orwell's "1984"? As I recall, it was the restructuring of the language that allowed the government to control the thoughts of the people. Speech codes seek to do the same thing; by removing certain words from our collective subsciousness, they seek to change our views towards certain segments of our population. While the goals might be admirable, the methods are not, and are by no means justified by the final goal.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, political correctness swept over this nation like a blanket of McCarthyism. New phrases were invented daily to replace the old judgmental and politically incorrect phrases that we had been using since the invention of the English language.

If you want to alter your speech habits in order to conform to your vision of political correctness, feel free. But, if you want to alter my speech habits to conform to your vision of what is and is not acceptable, then you have overstepped your authority. As a society, we should resist the temptation to do bad things for what we see as good reasons. We should not walk gleefully into the tyrannical abyss of speech and thought control. I certainly won't.

Something is Wrong.......This is not America

People are messed up with there thinking.....

You know, I'm dumb founded.  Have been for a few years now.  It seems like everything that is normal is wrong, everything that is right is now a sin and people are complaining about their on lazyness.

I often wonder why people don't love this place we live as being blessed to do so and thankful of our founders for establishing a land of liberty not found in the rest of the world.  I believe it's because we have become ungrateful, spoiled children that thinks we are owed everything

When this country was founded, if you ate you grew it. If you you had shelter, you built it. If you were in danger, you protected your self.  You had communities that would trade with each other the things you needed.  If someone was hurt, sick or disabled, that community would help out.  People came together under a common cause and depended on each other and what they deemed was their god. 

Today, we have become spoiled.  We do not depend on our selves but gladly take from those who do.  At one point in history this was called lazy, deadbeat, and shameful.  Today, it's called social justise. 

When a gov taxes people that work and work hard to build their dreams because they have the freedom to do so, and then they have it or at very least a large part of it taken away through taxes to give cell phones, food, shelter, ect and ect. to those that just sit back and complain that life is not fair...  well, it's pretty much isn't.  Never in world history has it been, ever. 

We are the only country in the world that allows people freedom to do what they want, when they want, and how they want.  However, the problem with this now days is the gov has passed so many laws and taxes that it restrict business, (large and small)  in such a way that it is difficult to grow, hire people and prosper.

With that said, the gov has as always prospered off the backs of others freedoms and has given and created a voting base by giving that hard work of others to people that don't, can't, will not work.  They have created a social justice society rather than a equal justice society.  Or rather taken our county toward a socialist type on the back of political correctness.  What was once right is now wrong and what was once wrong is now right.

Now, you may say... I can't get a job.  The economy is bad.   YES!!!  This is true.  The gov cannot created jobs, free people do.  What the gov can do is get out of the way like they have since our beginnings, let people created ideas that allow those people to hire.  What the gov has done is creat laws, taxes, rules and regulations that have pretty much shut down the ability to even be able to be prosper.  So what's the point. 

The most prosperess times in our history is when they stepped aside and let us the people built, discover, create, hire, think and take care of ourselfs.  But that's kinda hard to do when a gov raise taxes, gives people free stuff, spends more than they steal from us and borrow's money on the china credit card system. As well as hire 15m gov IRS agents to be sure they get our money. 

Wake up people, this is not a free stuff society.  It's a free society that is being transitioned to a social cry baby, help me help me, this is not fair, Tom's got more stuff than I do society.

COMMON CAUSE-The search for Independence

It was a day unlike any other day, when on July 8, the Declaration of Independence was read in public for the first time in Philadelphia. The year was 1776 and it was published in newspapers, copied, reprinted, and widely disseminated throughout the colonies.

Upon being elected to the Second Continental Congress in 1775, Thomas Jefferson drafted the "Declaration of Causes and Necessities of Taking up Arms." During the first Continental Congress, (which he did not attend because of his wife's illness) Jefferson sent A Summary View of the Rights of British America, which advocated a natural right to self government for America.

I believe it is very important to always realize this was not a decade of rebellion, but rather a decade of taking and reclaiming a freedom that the people of the colonies were afforded before the tyranny of the government of Great Britain.

Thomas Paine, a man of great insight wrote a pamphlet called Common Sense. Common Sense caused a decisive and spontaneous change in thought and action across America. The word first whispered by John Adams to members of Congress-"INDEPENDENCE"-was now shouted across the land.

George Washington at a low point of morale had Common Sense read aloud to the troops, and stated that it had "sound doctrine and un-answer able reasoning" and that it was "working a powerful change in the minds of many men."

In the writings of Common Sense, Thomas Paine openly advocated a new and original political thought. "Power of the People."

Common Sense was read aloud on city streets, passed around schools and preached from the pulpits of churches. (now days progressives are disconnect from such a thought) It was heard by almost every American citizen and in turn transformed them into patriots with a fearless spirit. And after returning from the Continental Congress in Philadelphia, Colonel Christopher Gadsden burst into South Carolina's provincial congress carrying a copy of Common Sense in one hand and in the other, a handmade yellow flag bearing the inscription: "DON'T TREAD ON ME." (today known as the Gadsden Flag) He immediately advocated "absolute independence for America."

When Common Sense was first released, the Continental Congress watched and waited for the reaction of the people at large.

On May 15, Congress recommended that the individual colonies sever all relations with Great Britain and created new and independent governments. This resolution was introduced by none other than John Adams. The man that years earlier had refused to have his ships boarded and was arrested for it back in 68. He had proposed the idea in 1774, but now was the time.

On June 7, 1776, Richard Henry Lee of Virginia introduced a resolution with three primary elements: 1) formulation of new continental constitution. 2) establishment of foreign commercial alliances, and 3) a declaration of independence.

Four days later on June11, Congress established a committee of five to draft the document. The appointed members were: Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, Robert Livingstion and Thomas Jefferson. The members asked Jefferson to take the job of writing the declaration. Jefferson was asked to write the document because he was thought well of through out all the colonies and it was considered support would be thought of as well. Adams gave three reasons why he wanted Jefferson to take the lead. These are the reason he gave in a conversation with Jefferson: 1) He was a Virginian. 2) Adams said, "I am obnoxious, suspected and unpopular." "You are very much otherwise." 3) Telling Jefferson, "you can write ten times better than I can."

The humility and self-knowledge displayed by John Adams paved the way for the creation of one of the most compelling documents in History.

Jefferson took two weeks to draft the Declaration of Independence. Franklin and Adams reviewed Jefferson's first draft, made a few minor revisions, but it was presented to the entire Congress largely untouched. The birth of a nation was about to take its first breath of air.

John Adams quickly became the Declarations most ardent advocate in an attempt to persuade the doubting states. Thomas Paine was one of the main lobbyist (yes there was lobbyist then) in favor of the Declaration. But it was George Washington's report that a British fleet of more than a hundred vessels had sailed into New York Bay that did it. The fleet seemed to be an all out attack on American positions and the final straw.

The Declaration was not only to declare independence, but to justify a separation from Great Britain. The Declaration was specifically aimed at King George III, largely because the colonies had already disclaimed Parliament's authority.

PEOPLE NOW HAD A COMMON CAUSE.

Similar to Common Sense, the Declaration of Independence was an act of treason against the government of Great Britain.

John Hancock was the first to sign the Declaration. He signed in large letters so that King George III "might read it without his spectacles." John said. This may have been some displayed anger because of his arrest back in 1768.

"We must be unanimous" said Hancock to the others on July 4. "There must be no pulling different ways. We must all hang together."

"YES," replied Ben Franklin, "we must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

The founding fathers knew there would now be no turning back. It was all or nothing. The last line in Jefferson's document stated their dedication: "FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE DECLARATION...WE MUTUALLY PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER OUR LIVES, OUR FORTUNES, AND OUR SACRED HONOR."

Uncommon good Sense-Our founding history Part I

The period surrounding the American Revolution was a time of tremendous creativity and innovations. Clearly, something was waiting to be born.

Thomas Paine, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison mapped strategy, forged consensus, picked unproven talents such as Lafayette and John Paul Jones. They among others made crucial decisions and daring choices.

Through intimidating, out maneuvering, and outsmarting the British, As well as Benjamin Franklin's private mission to Paris in search of a strategic alliance, these men faced challenges and dissension in their own ranks with an enlightened vision from which they would not stray.

It was a time of great change. There was anxiety among the masses, dissent would soon turn to action and a spark of fire is all it would take.

As tempers and passions began to rise the American people became something of a volcano waiting to erupt. Just one major quake was necessary to set them off. And Great Britain provided that catalyst with imposition of a series of new oppressive government decrees. Thus, sparks for a fire.

The spark of fire that would eventually burn around the world began in the so called New World in the thirteen American Colonies. The people of the colonies were people that for the most part had been born into the freedom that the New World and its distance from Europe afforded. The rest were seeking a better life than they had experienced in Europe. By the mid eighteenth century, all colonies had become members of the British Empire. Due to the geographic location, along with the wisdom of Old Ding George II, Americans were pretty much allowed to run their own affairs.

Philadelphia, with a population of 34,000, was the second largest in overseas British Empire. New York had a population of 22,000 and Charleston with 10,000. Because the Americans were prolific producers of goods, They had a dynamic and prosperous economy. America was famous for its "ragged currency". So named because it changed hands frequently.

HOWEVER, FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE WAS ON THE WAY.

George III, at the age of twenty two, ascended to the throne of Great Britain in 1760, American autonomy was significantly disrupted. The King immediately set out to establish his power and influence over Americans, with no respect for the culture or individuals that were already in place. King George III attempted to impose his will and personal values on a proud and fiercely independent people.

One of the Britain governments moves against the colonies was to establish the Revenue Act of 1764 (Sugar Act). This Act imposed a duty(tax) on American imports of molasses and limited distribution to and from the West Indies to America. The effect was devastating. The colonies immediately united and sent out numerous protestations to London-all of which fell on deaf ears.

Britain was now threatening their very livelihood and Liberty.

And that was a different matter altogether.

People-the bedrock of American Freedom

The Bill of Rights were written to highlight those rights enumerated to "the people", not to the government. It is illogical to even think that any of the 10 amendments were written to describe a "right" of the government.

The constitution was written to set the powers of the government, the 10 amendments were written to address the shortcomings of that document. Those amendments were expressing the rights of the people that the government could not take away. Those rights are expressly important because they are powers that are exercised to counter the power of the government.

People are calling Obama a Marxist and wondering why gov is taking everything over?

Fundemental Change? Hope?

All these things seems great. That is until you look into them and see the true meanings and where those thoughts are coming from when one makes as statement such as fundemental change and hope.

Did hope and change mean how washington deals with special interest, lobbies, pork, corruption, back room deals,gay rights issues, Transparency and the Criminal Minds of those we elect to office?

I think that is what most people voted for when they voted for hope and change. At least those that did not see the writing on the wall before the elections.

I contend that indeed each adminstration has built to this and that the Bush administration was no different. But this group we have now has taken it to a whole new level.

What have we recieved? Well to date, promises to the lefts thoughts about the wars, gay rights issues, and the enviroment, but nothing done. This gives the apperance of things being done, but in fact...nothing.

To the left, they see the illusion of progress. To the center right, the see the destruction and tear down of everything this country's foundation was built on, thus the tea party's voice.

So what's going on? I say it is a attempt to truly change America into something other than America. It seems that this admistration is fused with many people that love, have studied, and openly praised Marxist. Some openly admit to being Marxist.

Gov growing, taking over private bussiness, blaming wall street, making the poor hate the rich, making the poor believe they will have what the rich do, making people dependant, higher taxes not to help anything but grow the gov power over your life and your pay check. These things are done to gain control in the name of making people equal. In reality it chains your liberty.

Everytime Gov regulates or mandates, in reality they do not care about the problem at hand. In reality the problem they are dealing with is a creation of prior regulations and mandates. Each stacked on each other is building to have total gov control and to stuff out capitalism......thus a slow build to Socialism and Marxism European way of living. EXAMPLE; The whole subprime mess. It was not this company, that company, this person, that person. It all started out of gov regulations and mandates on how banks give out loans in the name of fairness. Well, you can't give something away for free to people that can't pay for it, but the gov sure can come in and claim to save everyone, take over everything, blame it on captialism, and rich people. Then the very people that started this mess will be able sit back and look at each other and say...see I told you, just give it time and it will Collapse and we can have an excuss to fundamentally change America.

Next will be the change to our free market through financial reform. When Obama says I believe in the power of a free market system what he really does is spend the rest of the speech on why he believes in Marxist Theory. He just hopes you want see that but hear "free market reform".

All you have to do is take the time to reasearch this for your self and not be some lazy o it will work itself out...I'll be fine type of person. Reasearch will let you see what is going on. Listening to other people will make you sheep in a field to be led by not your thought but the thoughts of someone else. So it's up to you to wake up one day and be somewhere you want to be or don't want to be.

It is Marxist who hide theirselves under the title of progressives in both parties, but more so in the dems, because the theories of Marx can be attached to "being for the working person" thus translated into redistribution, and social justice.(which is Marxist)

Marxist and Socialist thought is pushed onto our people and into out thoughs through Saul Alinsky Tactics, our gov schools, saving mother earth, using the working person against the person that the working person works for, and all the things that tug at the heart strings of caring people. All this with political Correctiness(marxist tool) hammering at every normal Liberty we may have to shut people up. Political Corectness basicaly say shut up, plays on the feelings of others with hate and the claims of racism.( it's main tools.)

It's alot like this. You can listen to a preacher and hope he's correct and leading you down the right path, or you can read the bible for yourself and fact check him and make sure your not being led away by the beautiful highlights of the bible while being sent straight to hell by the very person you depended on saving your soul.

The left wants progress, thus the attempt to paint the tea party as something and anything they are not. The right as always through common sence assumes people will see the the truth as opposed to the lies. The left contents hate & racism, the right contents our founding and less gov. The two doesn't even go together. If only people would understand political thoughts and understand history, people would see all this falling into place. However, people tend to follow the talking points and scream it over and over and they do not even see the work or plans that are taking place under and behind all the fussing and fighting. It's almost like a majic trick....look at this hand while the other hand is doing something else.

As everyday, I woke again. I have no complaints with that fact and I hope to do the same tomorrow.

However each day brings another day of finding out that our gov is yet lurking around in the shadows and backrooms of their smoke filled rooms thinking, pondering and figuring out ways they can make this a better American and help all us little people out. BaHaaaa.

Every bill they come up with is a bill that by it's very title or name is one that is designed to appeal to us we the people. They want us to know (yeah right) that they are fighting and doing all they can for us. I like to think of it in the same way a parent sorta tries to make their children think they are doing something for them, but in reality work things out in the parents favor. You know what I'm talking about. If you don't, then maybe, just maybe I stink as a parent. [smiles]

Anyway and Anyhow, Just as the health bill that was praised as helping millions while screwing millions more, and was shoved down the majority of Americans throats...now comes finacial reform.

While the title seems great, it's still just one line that preceeds many, many lines of stuff that most Americans don't see, care about or even effects them until it does. And then that's when it becomes a big deal.

And you see, that's the problem. Most Americans just sit back, have become dependtant and trust their gov. Hell, today most every elected offical could not even tell you how many admendments are in the constitution.

Back to the subject. Part of this "finacial reform" bill, you know the bill that everyone is smiling about because big business is finally going to get their due. Oh yeah, that can't do this to us again. Well, here is one of those little parts that is hid in the bill.

(Section 152, page 63) of the Obama administration's Financial Reform bill would create a new 1,000-employee office within the Department of the Treasury, the Office of Financial Research, which is raising alarm bells among Senate GOP staff, who say the entity would have broad powers to invade the privacy of American citizens and monitor their finances and financial activity at a level never before allowed by the federal government.

Yes, it says to invade the privacy of American citizens and monitor their finances and financial activity. Now why would they want to do that? And what does that have to do with wall street.

People!!!! you better wake up!! If you don't, one day you will wake up with every freedom gone in the name of something other than what you want.

Self-reliant

Do people really believe that it is our goverment responsibiliy to take care of us with each and every one of our needs and to control even the air we breath?? I don't know, I may be wrong but should we not take care of ourselves....I mean is that not the American way and what our fore fathers ran from and the whole reason this country was formed. And by the way, I'm not wrong. You should be able to take care of yourself. That is your right as a free born.


I understand helping the less fortunate, and meeting our fellows americans needs in a time of crisis. We as a country have always been there to meet the needs of people and nations all over the world. That is the one and only beauty of power. When it is used for good.


Getting back to point. Would you send me your money, I don't know maybe 15 to 25% and let me give it back to you in the way I see fit for you. Or would you rather do what you want to do with your own money. Just asking.
