We are and always have been a nation if individual liberty. Not collectivism. To believe in individual liberty is not a radical thing as is being betrayed these days. It is a yearning that mankind has had since the being of life. This nation is the only place on earth that has afforded such a personal liberty. That is the one and only reason we throughout our history have had a pouring in of immigrants through out the world. Its why our country was formed with inalienable rights, to insure & guarantee such liberties. Our rule of law is in place so we as a people are protected from those who would want to change it. Anything to change it evil or not is a tranny against a individuals personal rights--not a collective. It's the American theory. The main reason we have 3 branches of gov is quite simply so nothing can be a abruptly changed against the will of the people by those we vote to represent us. That's why each elected person takes the oath to protect the constitution from foreign of domestic abuse of it & the rights it affords us as individuals-not collective. That's why state rights prevail over fed rights. Gov is a glue to combined. Not control. That's why we were formed as a republic & not a democracy. It secures the individual liberty so that the majority cannot take that individual liberty away. America has always been the one to run around the world to protect those who's governments who's governments have tried to enslave its people. Regular average ordinary people.
Only you can prevent a Forrest fire... Educate your self. Don't listen to what the preacher says, read it for your self. HEY... It's the hot topic right now, might as well know what your talking about.
But if you're progressive, you probably will not like, because it goes against everything you want and believe.
The Constitution is considered the supreme law of the land both because of its content and because its authority is derived from the people. The concepts and ideas of the Constitution are the "higher law" in the United States if America, things which a government cannot create or destroy.
